    Enjoy outdoor leisure, hot springs and Aizu's local cuisine on the Urabandai Kogen, which is dotted with lush forests and large and small lakes.

    "Urabandai is such a beautiful northern plateau of Mt. Bandai where you get to see deep forests, various natural ponds, and steep valleys which are all created by volcanic eruption of Mt.Bandai in the past. In Urabandai area, you can enjoy many seasonal outdoor activities, such as mountaineering, hiking, canoeing, skiing and fishing. At Kyukamura Urabandai, all meals are mainly served as a buffet, which foods are carefully selected from Aizu and Tohoku area, and seafoods are directly delivered from 'Sanriku-area' as a part of restoration support. As well, there are seasonal Kaiseki (a traditional Japanese multiple course meal) available upon requests.
    Not only about meals, but Onsen is also amazing. There is a hot spring source underground of the hotel, of which contains natrium, sulfate, and hydrogen carbonate spring, are good for arteriosclerosis, burns, and chronic dermatitis.

    There is a sublime Mt. Bandai, which you can look outside through windows in the hotel. The mountain get coloured beautifully by each seasons which is phenomenal!

    Please enjoy fresh and seasonal foods by buffet or Kaiseki

    You can choose from either buffet or seasonal "Kaiseki" as your meals. For buffet, there are Japanese and Western dishes, which all cooked with seasonal local foods selected carefully. For Kaiseki, you can enjoy delicate taste of all local ingredients itself.

    Kyukamura-Onsen "Koganeno-Yu" (meaning of golden hot spring), which mainly contains natural iron.

    Our open-air hot spring bath will gives you a sense of freedom. In public bath, there are variety of hot spring baths so you can enjoy and relax at the same time. We recommend you to get something cold from the cafe where you can enjoy the landscape view through the window, to hydrate after taking hot spring.

    Access ■To access by car
    Once you get off Banestu-expressway at an exit of ""Inawashiro Bandai-Kogen"", then please head towards ""Urabandai-Yonezawa"" area via National highway 115 to 459. At Urabandai-Kengamine intersection, please head towards Yonezawa area. It is about 20 Km away from the exit.
    ■To access by train and bus
    From Tokyo Station, please take the JR Tohoku-Shinkansen to get off at Koriyama Station. Then please transfer to Banetsu-West Line to get off at Inawashiro Station. Once you arrived in Inawashiro, please take our shuttle bus from the station.
