The Cuisine inn Tagoto is well-known as a Japanese ryokan-style inn which is located in Nanokamachi area known as a 'castle town'.
There are seating rocks called ""yasumi-ishi"" still kept in front of the building as a symbol that many travelers rested in the past.
Our Kaiseki (a traditional Japanese multiple course meal) as well as Meppa-meshi are very popular meals which are all cooked with fresh ingredients from local.
Once you stepped into the building, you would feel a full of spirit in Nanokamachi of its most flourish time in Edo era.
We hope you enjoy our fine course meals as well as absorbing great spirit from our historical building.

No.1 Meppa-meshi in five different flavours

You can choose from shirasu (whitebait), salmon, zenmai (royal fern), salmon and salmon eggs, and eel.

No.2 Seasonal Meppa-meshi (which inspired from beautiful four seasons in Japan)

You can choose from edible wild plants, edamame, mushrooms, and crabs by its season.

No.3 Special lunch set

There is a special lunch set which you can enjoy both meppa-meshi and Japanese multiple course meals available from ¥1,600. There are various option to customize this Lunch special , such as adding side menus or you can change your regular meppa-meshi to Seasonal one to enjoy the seasonal fresh flavours. For dinner time, this course meal starts from ¥2,000.
