A handmade folk craft shop born from the climate of Kitakata, Aizu and a doll hall for charming cats

Kinomoto Japanese Lacquerware have proudly handed our original family business as producing and selling Japanese lacquerwares over to each generations to keep its traditional craftsmanship.
Masterpieces from the shop are ""Biidoro-windchimes"", ""Ukidama"", key straps, paulownia wooden fans, then mascots of Chinese zodiacs and Japanese hina-dolls which are made out of Kirinoko (meaning of paulownia powder).
The second floor showcases our masterpiece of ""kirinoko-dolls"". It displays 500 kitty dolls' activities titled as ""Ennichi (temple festival)""and ""Catnip-school"".
